Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Administration, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years in medical scheduling, admin support, or customer service preferred.
• 0-2 years with EMR systems, scheduling software, or medical front desk operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for consultations, tests, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Notify patients of confirmations, cancellations, or reschedules with information and instructions.
• Enter/update patient data in EHR or scheduling system.
• Align patient appointments with clinical priorities and optimize provider schedules.
• Track cancellations and no-shows and reschedule promptly.
• Provide general admin assistance including referrals and patient files.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure proper scheduling.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
