Great Plains Health is seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The role focuses on scheduling services designated to central scheduling, ensuring timely processing and complete order documentation, and maintaining patient demographics with high accuracy.

You will work with the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System to schedule, cancel, or reschedule appointments, interpret insurance information, and manage downtime procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintains a thorough understanding of scheduling modules and related systems to schedule, cancel, and reschedule patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and ensure all required documentation is present on orders.
• Interpret insurance information and cards for scheduling decisions.
• Manage downtime procedures and re-initiation of Hospital Information System as it relates to scheduling.
