Job summary

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, using scheduling software and EHR systems. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related admin experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service, call center, medical office, or healthcare-related administrative experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone, in writing, and in person.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Basic computer proficiency, including ability to learn scheduling/registration software and use standard office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Freeman Health System patients and care teams by coordinating appointments.
• Verify and update patient information and ensure accurate scheduling per guidelines.
• Serve as a key contact for patients, providers, and internal departments while protecting privacy.
• Support efficient clinic and hospital operations through timely service and organized processes.
