Responsibilities

• Patrols on or around UPMC properties to maintain a safe environment and deter issues.
• Monitor alarm systems and respond quickly to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to patients, families, visitors, and staff; follow organizational guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of incidents and daily security activities.
