Zusammenfassung

The Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialist at Freeman West is responsible for advancing a culture of safety, reducing preventable harm, and promoting high reliability across the organization. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to proactively identify risks and implement sustainable improvements.

Requires active RN or RCP licensure, a Bachelor's degree preferred, 3–5 years clinical experience, and professional certification in risk management or patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN or RCP licensure required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience
• Professional certification in risk management or patient safety (e.g., CPHRM) preferred
• Strong knowledge of patient safety principles, event investigation methodologies, RCAs, and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams

Aufgaben

• Advance safety culture and high reliability across Freeman West
• Identify risks, analyze safety trends, and implement sustainable process improvements
• Oversee collection, review, protection, and reporting of patient safety information (PSES)
• Lead patient safety initiatives, event reviews, and RCAs; monitor safety metrics
• Assist in management of professional and general liability claims; coordinate discovery processes
