Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a dynamic Risk Management and Patient Safety leader to guide strategy, reduce harm, and support a culture of safety across the medical group. The role collaborates with stakeholders, analyzes events, and implements evidence-based practices to align with safety principles.

You will lead proactive and reactive safety initiatives, develop education for staff, ensure compliance with PSQIA, and work to embed reliability throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a healthcare-related field.
• CPPS/CPHRM or RN or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with key stakeholders to guide and implement risk reduction strategies and physician-related quality improvement processes.
• Improves delivery of evidence-based care and reduces preventable harm by applying reliability principles.
• Nurtures a culture of safety and high reliability through data analysis, psychological safety, and learning systems.
• Leads proactive and reactive patient safety initiatives, including root cause analysis and significant event reviews.
• Develops risk reduction strategies and process improvements based on data analysis.
