Carthage Area Hospital is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to lead and sustain its patient safety initiatives, ensure compliance with accrediting bodies (CMS, DNV/NIAHO), and promote a culture of safety across departments.

You will analyze safety event reports, perform RCA/PDCA cycles, educate staff, coordinate safety committees, and support proactive risk assessments to minimize harm to patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifikationen

• RN experience in hospital setting (3 years).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and evaluation of the hospital's patient safety and risk program.
• Analyze safety event reports and conduct RCA/PDCA cycles.
• Promote safety culture through staff education, reporting systems, and process improvements.
