Children's Health in Dallas is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to lead investigations and coordinate safety initiatives across the organization. This onsite role drives multidisciplinary collaboration, analyzes safety data, and develops reports to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position emphasizes strong governance of safety events, engagement with clinical stakeholders, and partnerships with Accreditation to ensure compliant, high-quality patient care.

Formación

• At least 7 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical environment is required.
• Bachelor's degree is essential; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensure and certifications in patient safety or related fields are listed in the licenses section.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and facilitate investigation, review and disposition of patient safety events.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve measurable improvements in patient safety.
• Manage external survey processes related to Quality and Patient Safety.
• Develop and design patient safety reports using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, EPIC, and Visio.
• Collaborate with Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance to document event reviews.
