Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring to support patient safety under direct supervision. The role emphasizes supervision for patients on Watch Orders, mobility assistance, and adherence to isolation precautions while traveling with patients as needed.

Training is provided during orientation. Responsibilities include documenting patient behavior, preventing falls or wandering, and contributing to a team-focused environment aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stay mobile according to the patients movement.
• Ability to work in situations with isolation precautions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety for patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Must be able to work in situations with isolation precautions.
• Provide frequent checks on patients that have a Patient Watch Order.
• Provide direction to patient to ensure that they do not fall or wander off.
• Record and document patient behavior.
• Must be able to travel with patient when needed.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
