Job summary

The Doctors Company seeks a Patient Safety Specialist to join its Patient Safety team in a hybrid role (2 days in-office). You will review claims and medical records, assist with data research, and help develop articles and reports on patient safety topics.

Ideal candidates have a nursing-based or related advanced degree, 3+ years in healthcare or risk management, and strong Excel/data analysis skills. Travel to meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate or advanced degree in nursing or related field.
• 3+ years in healthcare, patient safety, risk management, or related areas.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical data sets and support for publication.
• Develop reports and analytical studies with the Director.
• Present patient safety data to internal customers on current topics.
