Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Day shift Protective Services Officer at the Liberty Campus. The role involves responding to complaints, directing traffic, escorting visitors, and securing access across the campus. You will assist clinical staff with patient restraint and perform routine patrols to maintain safety and order.

Position is full-time with a 40-hour workweek. Starting pay range is $18.33–$22.25 per hour, with potential differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete TCI training and receive TCI certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Physical strength, stamina, agility, and ability to safely perform tasks (stand long, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Investigation - respond to and address routine complaints.
• Monitor and direct traffic within the campus and manage parking.
• Assist clinical staff with patient restraint per instructions.
• Patrol buildings and grounds; ensure proper badging and safety compliance.
• Manage visitors and enforce visitor policy.
