Job summary

Fairfield Community Health Center in Lancaster, Ohio seeks a Rooming Associate to support patient flow and care coordination. Under supervision, you will prepare exam rooms, interview patients, document encounters in the EHR, and assist clinicians with procedures as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an active LPN license with BLS, and at least 2 years in ambulatory primary care. Some Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license with valid state registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of ambulatory primary care or related office experience.
• 1 year of EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, keep rooms neat, stocked.
• Interview patients to obtain history and vitals.
• Perform in-office procedures and testing as directed (venipuncture, injections, etc.).
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR.
• Assist provider and coordinate care, follow standing orders.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety practices.
• Cover for other staff as needed, including Saturdays.
