Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Room Service Associate to support the hospital room service call center and patient meal service. You will process meal requests, verify diet orders, and ensure meals align with prescribed diets and allergies while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include taking meal orders by phone, validating orders in Health Touch, assisting with bedside orders, and delivering trays with proper hand hygiene and patient identification.

Responsibilities

• Obtains meal orders from patients and visitors via telephone and enters into the Health Touch system for processing.
• Verifies meal orders meet diet parameters and offers compliant suggestions.
• Documents required information efficiently and consistently.
• Reads back meal order prior to completion of the call and escalates unresolved patient concerns as needed.
• Delivers room service trays and ensures proper patient identification and hand hygiene.
