Job summary

Eskenazi Health is seeking a part-time Room Service Associate to support patient meal services across the hospital. You will assemble tray lines, deliver meals, and assist with pantry inventory and sanitation within the dish room.

The role involves communicating with patients and healthcare staff to meet dietary requirements, following infection control and safety procedures, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Ability to use electronic menu management system.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diet restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver patient meal trays in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain dish room cleanliness and FIFO inventory of supplies.
• Coordinate with nursing staff on special diet needs and patient accommodations.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and PPE compliance in all tasks.
• Assist with pantry stocking and tray cart organization.
