Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an EVS Technician to maintain sanitation across patient rooms, floors and ancillary areas in Janesville, WI. This full-time role includes second shift rotations and will require strict adherence to safety and infection prevention standards.

You will operate cleaning equipment, handle chemicals properly, log bed tracking in EPIC, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure rooms are ready for the next patient. Prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, windows, sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, showers.
• Perform cleaning of carpets, floors, and use cleaning equipment safely.
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and proper chemical handling.
