Qualifikationen

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of customer facing experience within the food service, hospitality or retail industries.
• Read, write, follow written or oral instructions and be understood in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - Two years of college or equivalent.
• State of California Food Handler certification or Servsafe certification.

Aufgaben

• This person works as a team to provide food service that is safe, accurate, timely and responsive to the customer and patient's needs.
• Stocking, assembling, and serving portion controlled hot and cold food, replenishing and stocking stations, and general sanitation duties.
• May work in Retail Food Service (serving, cashiering, bussing, barista) or Patient Food Services (assembly and delivery of patient meal trays).
• May be responsible for cash, credit card and debit card transactions.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of foodservice areas and equipment.
• Provides excellent customer, patient, and staff interactions and acts as ambassador for Nutrition and Food Services.
