Job summary

SouthCoast Health is seeking a Full-time Patient Representative for the Richmond Hill location. You will welcome patients and families, provide directions and information, and help manage wait times while protecting patient confidentiality.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and professional conduct in a busy clinical setting. Health care knowledge and computer literacy are beneficial as you support daily operations and patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor physician's schedule to alert patients of wait time.
• Maintain patient confidentiality of pertinent medical information.
• Collect co-pays (may vary with location).
• Follow clinic protocol in alerting appropriate personnel in emergency situations.

Qualifications :

• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts.
• Knowledge of computer system.
