Responsibilities include collecting demographic and insurance information, obtaining necessary signatures, and maintaining accurate charts while adhering to privacy and billing guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Ensure charts are completed and accurate.
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
• Obtain signatures for treatment and consent forms.
• Process patient charts per paperwork flow and productivity standards.
• Interview patients and relatives to collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance benefits and authorization status via online resources.
