The role focuses on scheduling, pre-registration, referrals, authorizations, and financial clearance, ensuring accurate patient data and excellent service.

You will verify eligibility, determine patient responsibility, estimate costs, and collect co-pays or deductibles while maintaining compassionate care.

Formación

• Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans.
• 3+ years as a patient service/access representative in an outpatient Clinic Or medical office
• Epic experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Support patient access activities including scheduling, pre-registration, referrals, authorizations, financial clearance, and patient registration.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, TPL, Medi-Cal/Medicare, and Workers Compensation.
• Determine patient responsibility, provide estimates, and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate patient information.
