HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Registrar to support timely patient registration and accurate account information collection. You will interview patients for demographics, verify insurance coverage, and assist with pre-certification processes at points of care.

Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate charts, delivering strong customer service, and explaining pricing and billing policies to patients and families during admission and treatment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required

Responsabilités

• Interview patients at workstations or bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
• Provide exemplary customer service
• Verify insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization
• Calculate and collect patient liability amounts
• Secure signatures for treatment and release of information
• Explain policies regarding services, pricing, insurance billing, and payment of account
