The Patient Registration I role supports patient care and operational reliability by accurately registering patients, verifying insurance, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in accordance with regulatory standards. This position serves as a first point of contact, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or GED.At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative or customer service role.None required.
Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field. Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with medical terminology; bilingual or multilingual abilities.
