Christie Clinic’s Central Registration Check In role at the Fields clinic in Champaign, IL is a full-time position requiring a high school diploma. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and serve as liaison between patients and staff during the first point of contact.

Work hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with opportunities for cross-training and back-up coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• Demonstration of excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
• Preferred: Experience in a medical, insurance, or financial office.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Check in patients following front desk procedures.
• Review and update demographic and insurance information.
• Provide forms and obtain required signatures.
• Collect copayment and/or prepayments at time of service.
• Post payments for cash, check and card transactions.
• Maintain daily balance of cash drawer.
• Assist and cover front desk as needed and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
