Job summary

Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, GA is seeking a part-time Guest Service Technician to greet patients, register them in Outpatient and Emergency Departments, and support timely care and accurate billing. Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED state certification.
• Up to one month of on-the-job work-related experience to become familiar with CRHS’s Outpatient and Emergency Department patient registration policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families and assists with registration in Outpatient and Emergency Departments.
• Directs triage for patients needing immediate medical attention.
• Assists patients from vehicles into wheelchairs and provides comfort during registration.
• Acts as liaison between ER and family members, conveying treatment information.
• Maintains waiting room and supports Environmental Services as needed.
• Performs data entry and clerical duties during slow periods.
• Obtains guarantor signatures on ER consent forms.
• Helps patients locate departments within CRHS.
• Complies with CRHS privacy policies including HIPAA.
