Qualifications

• Formal training indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tact and diplomacy when dealing with patients under stressful conditions.
• Mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Registers all patients in accordance with the Registration policy and procedure manual.
• Maintains a positive relationship with patients, family members, other visitors and fellow employees.
• Performs cashiering transactions in the collection of accounts, auditing charges, issuing receipts and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Local travel may be required; duties performed at local Clinic offices as needed.
• Communicates Clinic policies and procedures regarding billing and payment information to patients.
