Job summary

A high school diploma is required; healthcare front-desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 1+ year experience in clerical/registration/customer service in healthcare.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register inpatient and outpatient patients with accurate demographics and insurance details.
• Collect co-payments or deposits when applicable.
• Balance the cash drawer at end of day.
• Explain facility policies and obtain consent and insurance form signatures.
• Enter data into computer systems with correct spelling and MRN information.
• Provide coverage across admitting areas as needed.
