Clinch Valley Health is seeking a Registrar to support patient admissions, registrations, and related processes at our on-site facility in Richlands, VA. This role emphasizes accurate data capture, insurance information, and initial payments, contributing to smooth patient flow and positive guest interactions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree preferred and 1 year of medical office experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical/business office setting strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance rules strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs patients and visitors while promoting positive guest relations.
• Accurately obtains demographic and insurance information, and is responsible for upfront collections.
• Admission/Registration, Pre-Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers of patients.
