Qualifications

• 1 year customer service in a professional setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle potentially stressful situations and multi-task.
• Basic typing and computer/word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and enters patient demographic information into the hospital information system.
• Verifies benefits, obtains required authorization, collects co-pays and deposits.
• Obtains signatures on documents for consent and regulatory requirements.
• Identifies and provides referrals and payment options to patients.
