Job summary

Profound Research is seeking an Embedded Patient Recruitment Specialist to engage patients at a clinical trial site, handling outreach from initial contact to scheduling visits. You will maintain meticulous data records and ensure timely follow-up in a dispersed team across the nation, with connections to sites around Detroit.

The role emphasizes empathy, data accuracy, and proficiency with CTM systems, regulatory knowledge, and patient engagement throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Telecommunications/call center experience.
• Telephone presence and elite customer service etiquette.
• Comfortable with medical terminology.
• Comfortable with basic data input: use of a computer to complete telephone logs and other data entry.
• Sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a customer service experience with empathy, compassion, and kindness as the first point of engagement with patients.
• Place outbound recruitment calls to patients interested in participating in clinical research.
• Respond to inbound recruitment calls within 24-48 hours.
• Complete study pre-screening and screening checklist, drive enrollment and retention.
• Interact with potential participants to recruit, assess eligibility, determine availability, and coordinate appointments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of clinical research protocols including inclusions/exclusions and Good Clinical Practices.
