Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to join our Laboratory Outreach team for day shifts. You will perform venipuncture, patient registrations in Epic, and coordinate specimen handling across WellStar, Quest, and LabCorp systems.

You will ensure QA checks, patient safety, and accuracy in registration, billing, and reporting, while providing courteous customer service and supporting physicians and office staff.

• Package specimens per DOT guidelines for courier pickup.
• Perform daily QA checks on equipment and maintain records.
• Assist physicians and office staff with lab orders in Epic.
• Resolve billing and testing issues with patients.
