Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Observer to provide constant observation for at-risk patients at our Salem, MA site. The role operates onsite with an evening shift and part-time hours (16 per week).

Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff, ensuring a clean environment, responding to patient calls, and stocking patient areas. Prior healthcare experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant observation for patients identified as a risk to themselves or others.
• Support direct care givers and patients with ensuring a clean and ready environment, patient call light response, stocking and environmental care.
• Respond to patient needs and assist with basic care tasks as directed by the nurse.
