Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a full-time patient observer to support continuous observation under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes environmental tasks and requires a high school diploma or GED.

Preferred candidates have at least 6 months of related experience and CPR/suicide precautionary training. Comprehensive benefits start after hire date, with additional hospital education requirements.

Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma or GED
• CPR and suicide precautionary training
• Prefer 6 months related experience
• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, they receive report about the patient(s) who require continuous observation.
• Other duties will include environmental tasks.
