Job summary

CalvertHealth in Maryland seeks a patient observation assistant to work under an RN, receiving handoff reports and monitoring patients requiring continuous observation. This role includes maintaining a safe environment and completing required hospital competencies and trainings.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and CPR/suicide precautions training; six months related experience preferred. The position is on-site and part of the inpatient care team.

Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma or GED.

• CPR and Suicide precautions training.
• Maintains unit-specific competencies and mandatory learning per GA-057 and department requirements.
