Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is hiring for Patient Observation Assistant roles at Inspira in Salem, NJ. Positions available full-time and part-time with 12-hour shifts. Prior healthcare experience preferred; salary ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Provide visual/audible observation under RN direction, complete reports, assist with safety and patient comfort, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Remains at the bedside unless relieved, supports patient safety and comfort.
• Assists in calming, reorienting, and transporting patients as needed.
