Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring Patient Observation Assistants for the Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. Positions are full- and part-time with day and overnight shifts; pay is $18.00 per hour. Training is provided and shift differential may apply.

Experience in hospital, patient, or customer service is preferred. Responsibilities include monitoring patients under RN direction, completing observation reports, ensuring safety, assisting with meals and mobility, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Prior hospital, patient, and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to train and start soon.

Responsibilities

• Provides visual and audible observation of assigned patients.
• Monitors patient condition and behavior at all times.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Assist with patient meals, positioning, transfers and safety.
• Responds to emergencies and notifies nursing staff as needed.
• Maintains patient room safety and confidentiality.
• Participates in hand-offs and shift change communications.
