Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Patient Observation Assistants at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. Shifts run 7:00 am–7:15 pm and 7:00 pm–7:15 am, with rotating days and weekends.

The role provides visual/audible observation under RN direction, with prior customer service experience preferred and on-the-job training available. Responsibilities include continuous monitoring, documenting observations, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitor the patient's condition at all times.
• Complete observation reports at established intervals.
• Remain at the bedside unless relieved by staff; respond to needs and safety concerns.
