TouchPoint Support Services in Miramar Beach, FL is hiring for a part-time Patient Observation Assistant. The role involves close patient monitoring under the RN and unit manager, with a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; CPR/BLS certification within 30 days may be required. Prior patient experience is preferred but not required, and paid training is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire, if required at facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior.
• Completes observation reports at established interval.
• Interacts hospitably with staff, patients, visitors and coworkers.
• Remains at the bedside of the patient at all times.
• Assists with patient safety and emergency reporting.
• Assists with dietary tray ordering and meal setup.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
