Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition, or Management.
• Registered Dietitian within 6 months of hire.
• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day (UT/ID)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services.
• Partners with nursing to educate and align with guidelines.
• Leads patient meal areas and coordinates with frontline staff on therapeutic diets.
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care cost-effectively.
• Provides value-based leadership for high-performing teams and operations.
• Oversees HR activities: hiring, training, mentoring, evaluations, discipline.
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors quality and satisfaction scores; collaborates with system leaders.
