Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Castle Rock, CO. This role focuses on guiding patients through hereditary cancer testing, performing venipuncture, and supporting both patients and clinical teams in a fast-growing diagnostic setting.

You will educate patients, coordinate scheduling, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while working in-person with diverse healthcare professionals and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist required.
• 2+ years clinical experience in front-office or back-office settings.
• 2+ years experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens for genetic testing and phlebotomy duties.
• Educate and support patients through the testing process.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and patient cases with clinical teams.
• Build relationships with partner locations and clinic staff.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant in EMR/EHR systems.
