Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator to support hereditary cancer testing. You will collect blood specimens, educate patients, and coordinate with clinical teams and partner sites in Greenwood Village, CO.

This in-person role requires strong communication and 2+ years in clinical settings with insurance verifications. You will perform venipuncture, ensure proper specimen handling, and maintain EMR documentation while guiding patients through the testing journey.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in front-office or back-office settings.
• 2+ years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if travel is required.
• Bonus: CMA or RMA certification; outpatient clinic experience; EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Explain testing procedures and next steps in patient-friendly terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout the process.
• Conduct structured patient consultations.
• Follow up to ensure patients stay on track and don’t get lost in the process.
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups; support clinic workflows.
• Provide hands-on phlebotomy including venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Maintain accurate EMR/EHR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
