Job summary

HALO Diagnostics seeks a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Aventura, FL. The role combines patient navigation with phlebotomy duties, supporting hereditary cancer genetic testing and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in-person. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, with English/Spanish language requirements and a comprehensive benefits package including stock options.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance verification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
• Coordinate patient education, care coordination, and phlebotomy support with the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
