Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Patient Navigator Non Clinical at the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC - Morahan Center). This hourly role supports front-door access, answers calls, handles online appointment requests, and coordinates with insurance providers and sports medicine patients.

You will work with MJM staff, maintain patient records in Epic and Microsoft Office, schedule visits, pre-register patients, and promote services and programs to the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in care coordination.
• Experience or familiarity with sports medicine services and/or athletics preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in streamlining front access to the Morahan Center (MJM) patients in conjunction with MJM staff.
• Answer the MJM center phone line and online appointment requests, providing routine information.
• Coordinate with insurance providers and sports medicine patients to obtain necessary referrals.
• Maintain health record information and organize files.
• Schedule and triage athletic patients following injuries and concussions.
• Maintain patient satisfaction with scheduling and pre-registration through Epic.
