Job summary

Endeavor Health in Warrenville is seeking a part-time Patient Navigator to provide initial client contact, assess needs, and schedule mental health appointments during the evening shift. You will triage crisis calls and verify insurance while maintaining accurate patient data with strict confidentiality.

Requires either an Associate’s Degree plus 3+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree, with CPI and CPR certifications to be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of three years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health related field.
• CPI certification within 90 days of start date into position.
• CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association within 90 days.
• One year of healthcare or behavioral health experience.
• Crisis line or crisis intervention experience.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (Medical/Medicaid/Workers' Comp).

Responsibilities

• Registers, reviews and corrects patient registration information in the computer system.
• Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility on all Blue Cross HMOI members.

Hourly Pay Range

$21.50 - $32.25 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Education:

• Certification:

• Experience:
• Maintain information as highly confidential
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision
• One year of previous experience in healthcare or a behavioral healthcare setting
• Unique or Preferred Skills:
• Crisis line or crisis intervention experience
• Substantial knowledge base of insurance plans such as commercial, managed care , and capitated plans (Medical/Medicaid/Workers Compensation.
