Qualifications

  • RN license required.
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Dermatology or immunology experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years in case management and patient support.
  • Experience in case management, patient access, HUB services, or specialty pharmacy preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a patient caseload independently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual or call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and payers to ensure patients gain access to prescribed medication and education.
  • Serve as the primary contact for patients and caregivers to provide personalized support on treatment journeys.
  • Guide patients through post-prescription steps, including enrollment into support programs and benefits verification.
  • Manage cases from referral through therapy initiation with timely, compliant progression.
  • Conduct benefits investigations and prior authorizations, tracking plan requirements and outcomes.
  • Proactively address barriers to therapy (financial, clinical, adherence).
  • Support medication adherence and ongoing patient engagement via multiple touchpoints.
  • Document patient interactions and outcomes per program requirements.
  • Escalate complex reimbursement issues and participate in quality initiatives.
