Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Mobility Aide to assist patients with mobilization, including transfers in/out of bed and into wheelchairs, and aiding ambulation. You will help ensure safe, comfortable movement throughout the patient’s healthcare journey.

Collaborating with Nursing, Physical/Occupational Therapy, and other departments, you’ll support patient care with compassion. A High School Diploma/GED and nursing assistant experience are preferred; BLS training is provided during

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency / GED with nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Experience assisting others with mobilization preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with mobilization, getting in/out of bed and into wheelchairs.
• Provide compassionate interactions with patients, families, and peers.
• Collaborate with Nursing and Physical/Occupational Therapy and other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties and comply with policies and procedures.
