Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Aide I to support dining services. Responsibilities include cleaning kitchen equipment, preparing patient meals, setting up dining rooms, and delivering food carts to departments.

The role offers varied shifts, weekend rotation, and benefits; wage range is hourly and depends on experience and equity considerations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to read, write and speak English and follow directions.
• Must be at least 16 years old; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Washes, sanitizes and stores dishware, silverware, pots and pans and trays.
• Checks patients' food order for accuracy according to diet needs prior to delivery.
• Supports aides in the kitchen and café as needed.
• Washes and sanitizes tables in the cafeteria and counters in the vending area.
• Delivers food carts to various departments.
• Stores and rotates food and supplies in unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Monitors and records temperatures of cooler, milk and coffee.
