Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis is seeking a patient-focused team member to support both patient dining and hospital food service operations. You will assist patients with meal ordering over the phone, coordinate with hospital staff on dietary needs, and deliver friendly service in the cafeteria through stocking, serving, and customer support.

The role is part-time with 16 hours biweekly, with a day/evening schedule including weekend shifts (11:30am–8:00pm); schedule may change based on

Qualifications

• Must have clear verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to explain diet orders to patients or staff.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills are required.
• Formal training in office/computer software may substitute for some experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain diet orders to patient or staff.
• Know nutrients in food and dietary needs.
• Identify foods related to allergies and therapeutic diets.
• Assist patients with meal ordering over the phone.
• Stock and serve in the cafeteria and provide customer support.
• Coordinate with hospital staff on dietary needs.
