You will apply precise recipes, quality control, and timely service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include checking menus, measuring ingredients, cooking to required temperatures, assembling patient trays, and operating kitchen equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume food service preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Check menu quantities and gather foods, supplies, utensils.
• Prepare soups, meats, vegetables, desserts per recipes.
• Cook to meet daily production; ensure proper serving temp.
• Set up tray line and assemble patient trays per diet.
• Transport food to storerooms and serving areas.
• Operate ovens, mixers, blenders and related equipment.
