Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare patient and staff meals in a hospital setting. The role follows standardized recipes and production sheets, ensures proper portions, temps, and presentation, and supports food safety and sanitation standards throughout each shift.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of cooking experience, with the ability to read and follow instructions, measure ingredients, and work efficiently

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and speak basic English.
• Ability to add, substract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare items according to established guidelines and production sheets.
• Set up tray line and cafeteria line on time and ensure proper presentation.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and document temperature monitoring.
• Manage leftover food and ensure proper storage and labeling.
• Ensure foods are kept at correct temperatures and food is used before expiration date.
