Qualifications

• Current state Food Manager Certificate is required.
• Experience in quality food preparation in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food items on assigned menus.
• Labels, dates, and stores food items/leftovers after use.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas; cleans after use.
• Trains and supervises Nutrition Services staff as PIE when assigned.
• Checks trays for flavor and temperature and presents attractively.
