Job summary

Hudson Hospital & Clinic is seeking a reliable Nutrition Aide to provide food service support for patients, visitors, and staff. You will help ensure meals meet dietary needs while upholding high standards of food safety, sanitation, and service.

Responsibilities include preparing cold items, delivering meals, assisting with diet-compliant menus, and maintaining logs. Evening/weekend shifts are available, with casual/per diem scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble cold food items for patient meals per dietary requirements.
• Deliver patient meals accurately and efficiently with good customer service.
• Assist patients with menu selections that meet physician-ordered diets and nutrition guidelines.
• Receive, store, and organize food products and supplies per safety standards.
• Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain safe food service environment.
• Maintain records and logs for patient meals, events, guest meals, and café transactions.
• Support daily food service operations while complying with healthcare safety and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
